The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

Boys and coach are freed |
I will be going to La Scalla 3 months from today...day not date
Pretty, flowing top I'm wearing today
My bed. I have been bone-weary this week. Almost fell asleep in a session last night.
There's a beautiful cake in the break room. Cake is my favorite food in the world. Doing my best to not have a piece now because if I do, I'll be going in and out of there all day..Aiming for a small piece on my way out.

The Thailand soccer team and their coach are OUT! Praise God! Grateful for all the people that worked to get them out and the one that lost his life trying to rescue them. |
My daughter stayed home yesterday since my husband was helping our son and got a cleaning bug. She prepared dinner in the morning so the meat could marinate. She deep cleaned all their bedrooms, bathrooms and their living room. It was so nice. I went ahead and did a deep cleaning on the rest of the house even though it was laundry day. We also took all the bedding, including mattress pads and comforters. Love that the whole house is so clean.
Dinner last night was amazing! She had found a WW recipe for hamburger steaks and gravy online. She doctored it up with lots of onions in the steaks and gravy as well as a bunch of spices, covered the meat mix and let it set all day in the fridge. Last night she put it in a casserole, added the gravy over it and cooked it in the oven then added several veggies to round it out and the only thing she used that had to be counted was some parmesan cheese in the squash that wasn't already counted in the recipe. The smell and taste were sooooo good. She did so well!
Finally settling an 8-year-old lawsuit tomorrow for a building we built and never got paid. We ended up paying for supplies and labor then the owner never paid, skipped town and invested the money in a medical startup in another state, yet he leased the building and made money. Everybody got paid but us. They have tried every trick under the sun to stall and to find ways of getting out of paying and to keep him from having to come back to the state because he will be arrested. The trial is tomorrow and there were no more ways to stall, I guess. They made an offer today to settle without going to court. They will present it tomorrow to the judge instead of the trial. It's not the amount owed which means there will be no profit from that job for our company what-so-ever, especially after all the lawyer fees over the years, but it will be over and the financial hole will mostly be filled. I don't know how we lasted this long without going under.
Sleeping so good on freshly washed sheets. I always like them right out of the laundry instead out of the linen closet.

1. That I am back to a regular work week this week. It was great having Wednesday off last week, but it sure did play havoc with Thursday and Friday! Thursday was like a second Monday and Friday seemed like the longest day in history! |
2. Being able to wear a new top that was a little tight when I bought it.
3. Having clothes in my closet that I can lose down into! Saves money!
4. My sister Peggy sharing things from moms stuff that she has.
5. This day and all it has to offer!
6. One last and important one! Just got a breaking news text on my phone saying all of the boys and their coach have been rescued in Thailand! Praise God.

Easy dinners. I haven't felt like cooking (or eating) but somehow something appealing always appears on the table. It's a miracle! lol
Going shopping today. Getting things ready for the birthday party on Saturday. There will be 10-12 of us.
