The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

Son's FIL had to be taken to the emergency room a few days ago in bad shape. He ended up having some kind of surgery to his heart (not a bypass). He is doing well and got to go home today. They say he is feeling much better. I sure hope he keeps doing well. He has been feeling very poorly for a bit over a month and not felt like doing much at all. Definitely not like him. |
Had a "cold front" come through late yesterday so I can sit out in the screened room and enjoy the dusk. It is uncommonly quiet this evening. No birds making a ruckus while going to bed in the neighbor's trees, don't know what is up with that. I heard someone mention seeing a hawk across the street today so they may be staying away until it moves out of the area.
The smell of my roses is wafting through the screened room and it smells absolutely lovely. I could sit here smelling all night.
By this time tomorrow, our generator should be functioning. We have had it sitting there on the pad for four years waiting for the gas and electric to be hooked up. We have hired several people to do it and none has ever come to start. One of them showed up yesterday ready to tackle it just out of the blue. There has been a building boom here for the past few years but it has come to a grinding halt recently. Guess that is why he finally showed up.
Two and a half years after my husband had bypass surgery he is still faithful to getting to the gym at least three times a week and he is way more active than most men his age, let alone ones that have had a bypass and all the lung trouble he had after it of the blood thinners.

1) although it could be 6+ months for shoulder / bicep surgery, the receptionist is going to fit me in week of 4th instead of week of 24th. I'm hoping she has an alternative med for the pain |
2) NewBody tomorrow night. I'm going to put on a brave face and get that class rolling again!
3) radio station today (9/13 in a row) and still loving it!
4) texts, emails, FB comments from friends and other listeners who love when I am on the air - means so much!
5) Ray is helping my friend Amanda tear down and build a new deck. Yes he's getting paid for it of course but it will still be highest quality work done for them quickly and at a better price than another contractor I'm sure
Have a great day ladies!

Now he wants to wait until the SUV is paid off He's doing the deck for my friends and will make about $1000 there and then another job for his client from earlier this summer. I know he will do well with this!|
