The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

Getting my hair done, just 4 weeks after my appointment. It feels so much better. |
Love my style and color. Even my husband said he really likes it and he rarely compliments anything.
The stuffed banana recipe I cooked for dinner last night. It was very well received. Even my daughter ate it and she doesn't usually like cooked peppers. She found that the texture of the bananas is different from green pepper.
Now that I have found a recipe that everyone likes I have plenty of banana peppers to put into the freezer so that we can have it several times over the fall and winter.
More than enough. Even though I have to budget to get what I need and especially wants I am rich compared to a large part of the world.
1) bye bye lapband - it's gone :)

2) Ray for taking the day off to transport and be with me |
3) REAL pain meds - going to use them sparingly but it will be nice to be pain free for a few days eh? 20 Dilaudid -every 4 hours if needed
5) support of amazing friends. Yup, that means *YOU*
Amazing to get it so quickly

I thought it would take much longer. You are clever... keeping it real with the date... but, not so much with the other Ohio/Ind.|
I don't know what you mean by this

the good drugs. That one works best for me. I hope it does for you too and helps your shoulder pain some too. |

2 X 1 mg at the hospital, 1 at 3:30 and 1 at 7:30. Heading to bed now - took Elavil and Gabapentin. Didn't bother with sleeping pills are all this should knock me out. Decided not to be "strong" on Day 1 and take the "much as you need" plan. I can see why these help, Delta. |
You are so not supposed to be

strong on the first day. Getting ahead of the pain with meds usually helps it to be less in the long run. I hope it is helping your shoulder too. It helps me sleep but don't knock me out like other pain meds. I can wake up and be alert just by someone walking into the room. |
Druggie Day today for me

I didn't sleep much last night so I'm going to definitely take the meds today. Great comment on getting ahead in the long run. I'm glad you've been through this and can share your experience with Dialaudid (sp?) |
It definitely helped the shoulder yesterday too which was a big bonus. Thanks Delta!

Coffee today. More than other days. Didn't sleep well |
Peaceful days when Mom feels well.
Andy will be home from the riverboat this weekend. Excited to see him
Hannah is getting married so soon now. It's a small wedding. I'm happy for her.
Sorry that you didn't sleep well

Is there a full moon or something? I even took something to help me sleep and didn't get to sleep until about 4:30. |
I am glad that your mother has days that she feels well.
Do you still pick Andy up? If you do I would love to have coffee with you on your way there.
