The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

Foot is much better today. I just can't take that for granted and not do the exercises and icing I need to do regularly. I got the night boot the ortho wants me to wear but it woke me up feeling uncomfortable so I ripped it off and threw it on the floor during the night. |
My friend Igmara finally got a new job. She's the Chaplain I worked with at PACE and just deserves this so much
My beautiful pale yellow mum. It's a different kind of mum and is always so beautiful. It's the last thing to bloom each year.
Memories of my trip. What a blessing that was
Charlie snoring. Katie was a big snorer and I fell asleep to her little snores every night for many years

Something I ate made me sick last night...gratitude? I lost 2.50 pounds..back below 230 .so now I will cool it today to keep it off. |
met my out of pocket max on my health insurance (over 6 thousand dollars!) as I had my knee done this past March so I am seeing every doctor I need to before the end of the year for $0. Seeing foot doctor, eye doctor, skin doctor. plastic surgeon about my finger and the dentist.
happened to be shopping and found some cute little gifts for the grand kids. My daughter and son in law prefer they don't get that much so these cute little things will make them happy but not be expensive.
Didn't buy, and therefore didn't eat, any Halloween candy this year.
Did I mention I will spend Sat. and Sun. with the Grandkids (of course I did) HA!

Yes,get all those doctor spots in now! I am so lucky with my insurance from the hospital. It is really good especially if I get my care at my hospital. |
Glad you had fun with the fam!

It's Friday…..that's always nice. I like Fridays.... |
My computer came on this morning with no problem....
Looking forward to my morning walk. I haven't been walking every morning...and I miss it when I don't.
Took and ALEVE before going to bed last night. My knees and back are feeling much better. The doctor told me to take Tylenol, but they don't work as well for me.
We had our big ash tree out front trimmed way back....hoping that will help with new growth. We'd sure hate to lose that tree....it provides entire shade for the house....
Cinq Choses Pour Moi (Good morning Shirley!)

1) working a day shift at the gym today (9:30 - 5 pm) |
2) wearing a different pair of sneakers with insoles that I bought yesterday so I am hoping that will help my feet. I am not used to a job standing/walking around all day
3) getting a perm next Wednesday (Darlene from gym is a hairdresser of 20 years) - looking forward to that. Hardly ANYONE does perms around here these days!
4) our dishwasher - it's almost always running
5) got free tickets and a backstage pass to a country concert this weekend. I didn't know about the tickets themselves so I will most likely give them away to a friend if I can find someone who wants them
