The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"
I have an idea.....

The last two days have been filled with snacking for me. Not a set meal, just snacking and tracking (my points) and then not being hungry for a meal, so I am not making any-and then being hungry and snacking some more! While this works for some people- it is not a habit I want to get into! |
So for today - I have told myself that I am going to make ME and my food plan a priority and make sure I eat my meals-and NOT be snacking my way to the new year! I want to be down 90 pounds by the end of the year, and thatís only 2.8 pounds! I may not make it, but I wonít know if I donít try, and if it takes me until the middle of January to get there, then thatís okay too! I want to set my sites on getting through the next week in the best shape I can!
If you are struggling-feel free to put your plan for the next week down right here! We are only talking seven days! This time of year is hard on so many levels! Maybe putting it down for your FSF sisters to see will help you stick with it! Whether it is to make yourself get out and be around family, stick with your food plan, switch to a maintenance plan for the next week and then switch back to losing in the New Year, staying off the scales, going for a walk, journaling, posting your gratitudes with us daily, WHATEVER it is- commit to doing it for the next week and letís see where we end up come New Yearís Eve!
Any takers? Please post below! Letís do this ladies!
Thanks for this Cindy!

I have been snacking instead of eating real meals lately too. Just so much busy-ness. With the grandkids home from school for the holiday, it could get worse. My plan is to try to sit down tonight or Wednesday morning at the latest and plan a week's worth of WW friendly meals that the whole family loves and add more starches and fats for the kids. If I have a set menu with the points counted ahead of time it is so much easier to stay on plan. |
That summer chest infection really did a number on my lungs. I coughed for over 3 months even with medical intervention and have had a lot of problems breathing since then. Every time I tried to walk even I started having trouble breathing and if I pushed it I would have an asthma attack. I have noticed this week that I was able to walk further and a bit faster without the severe breathing problems. Since I am able to breathe easier now I plan to start back to exercising again. I'm starting slowly and working up.
Love this! ....

Having a plan makes sense! What is that old saying... Fail to plan = Plan to fail?? Or something like that! Love your idea of putting together some meals that work for you, and you can just add some extra starches and fats for the kids! |
I went to the store today and picked up a few Weight Watcher frozen meals to keep in the freezer. I donít use them very often, as I donít want the extra sodium, preservatives, etc, but decided that it might make sense on evenings when I am tired and not wanting to cook to have them in the freezer for an easy meal.

Thanks, I love you too. I taking it a day at a time. We stayed in Columbus this Christmas... didn't want to leave Mom. The nurse says she is starting to 'fail' I guess that means she could die in a small patch of time. I've been sick for a week. I had that stomach flu that Murray had. No water/little water & I ended up with a bladder infection. |
But - these will pass by. Mom says that she has no pain.
