The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

Paula got the job she wanted without taking a pay cut. Sounds like a fit. |
Beverly's mother was not in pain in her final days and was able to pass peacefully and she took care of so much so Beverly and her sister would have less to do.
Ear drops. My ear hurt so badly last night.
Daughter and all her boys had places they had to be today and my husband is overseeing a job so I have some peace to get the house back in order. I hope I have some time to read this afternoon before they get back.
Christmas foods are gone. I am so glad that we didn't do much in the way of sweets and junk foods or overcooking this year.

Starting to put some of the Christmas "stuff" away. |
Cleared all of the leftovers out of the fridge.
Such fun talking with Katie & Nick.
Making new friends....and reuniting with old.
My new computer...love it now that I kinda know what I'm doing.
Friendly neighbors...always willing to stop for a brief while and chat.
Beverly's mom safely home in Heaven....out of pain...and worry.

That Bev's mom passes peacefully and without pain. Reinforces my decision to go with hospice. |
Got the hospice job and didn't take a pay cut
Knowing that soon, about 4 weeks, I won't be going to that awful job
This all means that I won't be going back to my beloved IDC and the people I love there but, even the way they are jerking around getting the position filled tells me things haven't changed.
Off this weekend and next Tuesday; have to work 1/2 day Monday.
Happy for you

that you were offered the hospice job with the same salary. It just tells me that you were wanted very badly for that to happen. If they wanted you so badly they feel that you are perfect for the job. I hope that it is one that you can be happy with for a long time. It's a job that I could not do so I have the utmost respect for those that not only can but are so good at it. |

1) my regular Saturday show today at the radio station. I work from 9 - 3 today. |
2) Ray is working at our friend's hostel / art gallery today and tomorrow. Lots of handyman work for him to do which is great!
3) also great is that he's completely cleaning junk downstairs. Tons of stuff we don't use need - some getting tossed, some recycled and some we will sell in a yard sale sometime. 8 bags+ to curb this morning for garbage. (What a guy!)
4) 2 days of better eating for me - it's a start
5) ice pack helped on my shoulder last night. Will do that again tonight
