The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

Are we all just really busy or are we struggling today? |

1. Kohlís cash and rewards money! I got some new pajamas (a size smaller), some new socks, and some yummy Keurig Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll k-cups all for $35.00 -saving me $70.99!! |
2. Feeling good even though I have somehow pulled a muscle on the side of my thigh! Ugh
3. My new Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll K-cups. I have never had them before, but they are fantastic! Love this cinnamon-y flavor. So comforting!
4. Ken seems to be a little better. He has a lot of headaches and just aches and pains since he retired. At times I think he has too much time on his hands which makes him more aware of how he is feeling. Does that make sense?
5. This day and all it has to offer!
Love you ladies!
Yay on the savings

I love Kohl rewards and cash. There are several in the area but they are all on the far side of town which takes about 45 minutes to get to on a good day so I don't go as often as I would like. |
That Cinnabon coffee sounds nice. I used to love the flavored blends but for some reason for the past year, I find flavored coffee difficult to drink. That is sad because I used to would drink a flavored coffee after dinner and call it dessert.
Good that Ken is feeling better. I hope that you are right with your "diagnosis". Hopefully, you can help him find a hobby or project that he loves to take up some of his time so he has less time to think. (happy
My Tuesday Thankfuls

My husband feels better today. I am always grateful when he is not feeling bad in and of itself but I am also grateful that he is not carrying on today. He does really well during big illnesses but when he just feels bad, especially with a low-grade fever that makes him uncomfortable but it not high enough to make him sleepy he is so vocal about how he feels and runs me ragged. |
It looks like this virus is going to move through the whole family so I am really grateful for multiple toilets and Lysol. I am also grateful that we have indoor plumbing, period. I lived in the city limits in my childhood and I was about 6 before we got indoor plumbing. The town could only afford to run water around the courthouse and to the school a couple of blocks away. Only the handful of people that lived within that small radius had water/indoor plumbing. They did a little every year but the town didn't have a tax base to afford to put in a lot at a time so we waited our turn to get hooked up. We lived in a hilly area with a lot of caves under the area so wells were over 200 feet deep and did not have enough water to support a fully functioning bathroom and kitchen. Daddy had a bathroom built and had water run to the kitchen and bathroom sink and the bathtub and let me tell you, not having to go outside and pump water in the winter was such a luxury but we were limited to how much water we could use or we would run out. Baths were very shallow. I guess that is why when we got running water I loved to soak in a tub completely full of water.
Getting several blue dot days and several days with no sugar under my belt. I feel much better physically without the sugar. The boys made sugar cookies then chocolate chip cookies over the weekend and though cookies don't usually do it for me I love hot floppy cookies right out of the oven. I didn't eat a single one. Then a neighbor made some of those cookies we used to get in school made from peanut butter, Karo syrup, and Corn Flakes and brought us a big plateful. I loved those things as a kid and I loved the nostalgia it brought back. I did pinch off a dime sized piece and taste them and t brought back so many memories but that is all I had. I'm grateful that I could do that and also proud of myself.
Feeling like actually getting something done today. I have felt as if I was trudging through molasses so long and been in enough pain that I have only reluctantly done what I had to do around here. Today I feel like and am tackling some projects.
My husband got the attachment for the TV to make it come through is hearing aids so it can be muted. He still doesn't feel like going to the office but is bored so he is playing a game of some kind on the TV but I don't have to hear it all over the house today. With my ears infected they have been so tender and sensitive that just common noise has been painful, his TV and people talking to him have been excruciating for the past week. At times I felt as if my ears were bleeding or exploding from the noise/pain. I tried plugging my ears and that made me dizzy. This gadget makes us both happy today.
