The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

Hopefully, this one is in the right place. |
Feeling better today.
Shelter and heating.
The tile guy came yesterday and got the shower floor laid so it will be dry to walk on when he comes back to do the wall. I am really liking the tile even better on the floor. He had strep when he was supposed to lay it over the weekend. Glad he is better.
The tile guy brought his muscular sons to carry the boxes of tile in out of the truck and put it where it is convenient for him to work. He didn't want to be lifting it and he didn't want my husband or daughter to lift it either. That was thoughtful and I am glad to pay his sons to do it though they kept trying to refuse.
The marvel of the internet to find people like you ladies.

BILL - - I am most grateful for him. Today, we celebrate his 78th birthday and our 54th wedding anniversary. A true day of gratefulness and celebration! |
Katie and Nick had wonderful birthday yesterday and will celebrate again on Saturday with Uncle Scott, Grandma Kris and friends.
Finally got out of the house yesterday afternoon for a few hours. We've been cooped up for 3-4 days due to not feeling well. It was great getting a change of scenery.
Feeling a LOT better!
True and loyal friends.....

Silly cats |
5 more days here. Today is Barb's last day. No therapists after I leave. They have a half-baked plan for some temporary coverage
Heat...so cold this morning
Getting mammo, dentist and audiology done before I leave. Won't get insurance for 2 months at my new job. I can keep my current insurance for $700+/month!
Oatmeal from McDonald's
Glad to hear you got the appointments all in

If I was

an employer I think that if I kept losing therapists that I would get a clue and try to change something. I don't know that with the type of job it is if there is anything that could make it less stressful though. Maybe with their temporary idea, they think it will work something like the Church Health center here for free health care. Doctors, dentists, and therapists sign up to volunteer their services once a month. I guess it would prevent burnout there but I can't imagine many people coming back under the conditions you have described. |
Cinq Choses Pour Moi

1) helping Ray and his friends out with their fundraiser for their friend Larry - feels good to help where I can (e.g. creating FB event, selling tickets on a liquor basket, getting donations for the auction) |
2) in a week I will be home recovering - one day post-op and I hope to GOD in less / different pain
3) radio again today
4) Ray drives me to work most days which is fantastic. Saves money and it's great not having to walk even a couple of blocks in the cold
5) all of you - always

always sound upbeat you still sound like you are struggling today. I hope that the radio gig picks you up. |

Delta, my friend, I have been struggling for quite some time. This weight gain and pain have completely got me beat. I try to stay upbeat but it's really really hard. I'm at my lowest spot moodwise that I have been in many years. I am praying to GOD that this surgery turns me around in the right direction again.|

You are a wonderful person, Shirley. Those who love you don't see warts - they see an amazing lady.|
