The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

1. A good nights sleep last night! |
2. Ken woke up with NO headache this morning!
3. Ken was able to get into the pain management doctor to get a shot in his neck that relaxes it some which helps with his headaches. I am hoping between the new medicine (a once a month shot) and this injection it will help him out!
4. Only one really cold day in the weather this week. Unfortunately itís tomorrow-but the weather should warm up some on Thursday and Friday.
5. A job I love! I know I say this a lot, but I really am thankful that I have a job that I enjoy getting up and going to each day. My coworkers are like family and itís a fun place to work.
Glad to hear about Ken

Glad to hear they have something that works and hope things are much better for him soon!|
Grats for Tuesday

My daughter bought me a real phone and is going to teach me how to text. Good bye flip phone. |
Storm coming but shouldn't be too bad here...grateful.
books...a nice change from the computer and tv.
Seriously considering taking some money from the sale of Richs truck (when it happens)to heat our inground pool. It may seem frivolous but we only get three months out of the open pool here and if the water is too cold to swim its barely worth opening. Limiting the chemicals has made me able to use the pool and swimming is great exercise.
My little heater. I am so frugal and it has been cold but I can keep the heat in the rest of the house down because of my little heater.
Pool sounds ...

Excuse me for horning in but I think you should go visit then you could mosey on down to visit with Paula, then Shirley, then me and Elvis, then it is a toss-up between whether it would be better to go to CindyH or Cindy next but either way it would wind you toward the other and then back toward Canada. |

That Paula's first day went so well. It is good to see her here in the mornings again, too. |
My husband found my mother's courthouse online so that we can watch the weather there. It has been snowing all morning but no accumulation yet. They were supposed to get a lot but now with the weather shift, there may not be much.
Still glad that she took her trash to the street yesterday while I was talking to her. It doesn't run until tomorrow but she was afraid it would be icy. I'm glad that she thinks ahead some now. It has never been her forte.
I got almost 8 hours of sleep last night with no waking up. WOW! It feels so good too.
Krista is up and around and starting to exercise a week after her shoulder surgery.

So glad. The last time I was there.. I didn't feel very well. I have offered them free sessions for my sicky one. |
- it's so cold... but, I am getting so good at running from a warm place to the car and back to a warm place.
- our facebook has a 'market place' where people can put things for sale. I am thinking of putting a few things there and see how it goes. I have many beautiful things that have not been used or seen in 40 years
- noisy here... they are putting up the new cupboards in the kitchen. Exciting.
- Maya's hamster, Peanut, is still alive despite the interest of the cat, Teddy.
friends family you all FB internet cell car
Would be honoured...

Getting ready for Scott's visit. He wants to eat healthy (no lasagna) so I'm checking out new recipes. |
Warm, breezy weather.....not the frigid temps of Michigan.
Keeping in touch with family and friends through Facebook. I'm nosey...and it makes things so simple.
Bacon and eggs for dinner.....easy, quick and yummy!
Fun times at the casino...even when we don't win. It's our main entertainment in Vegas (other than watching football). lol

3 - 4 years ago I did my first shift at Country 94

Yesterday went well. People were very nice...it's a huggy kind of place and, after where I've been, that was nice. |
2 nurses are orienting with me. There was a gift bag for us and a welcome sign.
Spent the day going over HR stuff and doing on line modules on stuff like ethics, disaster training, disposal of waste, poison control... I think there are 16. I only have 3 to go. We had them at the hospital, too, but they dropped little by little in our learning exchange. Doing all of them at once is eye straining! They were more difficult, too.
Downton Abbey..enjoying it. It's hard to find a show that isn't stupid comedy or a blood and guts crime drama . Not my particular taste.
Bill to watch the animals when I am late.
