f - good breakfast. lunch way off, no dinner. had a burger, fries and ice cream out with beth and was definitely not on plan. life is short...sometimes its ok to just splurge and make a memory and just enjoy something special. i think that knowing my friend scott was on hospice played into why i let down my guard for this meal. life is short and as important as eating right is, sometimes it just isn't the priority. back on track today. |
e - walked more at the new assisted living center i visited.
w - 20 oz. not nearly enough.
d - better today.

It is important to enjoy meals sometimes and then having healthier fare most of the time. You have done so well throughout this last few years. You lost so steadily you made it look easy to the rest of us, though I know it wasn't. After you got to goal you had some setbacks that you just learned from and went on and got back to goal, then set a new goal and got to that. You have changed so much of your relationship with food and I am glad to see such a healthy attitude about just eating sometime, then getting right back to the plan. Good for you! |
I am so sorry to hear about your friend Scott! That much be so hard for you to bear. I just wish I could hug you.

F--My husband made biscuits for breakfast and I decided to have one with some bacon and scrambled eggs, so I did. I decided not to count today until the end of the day and just eat by the seat of my pants. I just added up everything I ate today and once again I had a blue dot day without even trying. I guess I am getting used to this counting thing if I can nail it without meaning to. I hope it lasts. |
E--No. I got the word after the doctor's office closed today that they didn't find pneumonia on my X-ray so I guess I will try to ease back into exercise again.

I am so glad they didn't find pneumonia too! I am feeling better about my ability to do this than I have in a long time. I went through a period of just feeling totally out of control when the scale wouldn't go down no matter what I seemed to do and was going up on 1000 calories a day. Hopefully, all my body parts that were out of order during all that are healing and this will continue to be true. It is such a blessing to see the scale go down after all that too!|
