My bleached oak cabinets and dining room set are 17 years old. The finish is completely off and down to bare wood on the top edges. I can't find a tone that will match because I don't know the company that made them. I don't want to change the colour of the cabinets. Also, I have a nail polish remover circle on the bleached oak table. It is right down to the wood. I tried a light sanding and pickled oak stain but it doesn't fix the problem (too light and still deeper than the rest of the finish. Any suggestions?
