I have a very unique table had planned on staining it, putting pictures of horses on it & then covering it with clear shellac. But on inspection I found it is made of pressed wood. I can't just put stain on it because it soaks it up like a sponge and then bubbles. Can anyone help me with this dilema? I absolutely love the table & would appreciate any input.
Thanks,
Patty
