Potpourri oil removed stain on table

I have an oil potpourri burning that tipped over and the oil ate the finish/stain off my new dining room table smack in the middle. The table is stained a very dark brown and am wondering if your elixir will help me or do I need to totally refinish it? PLEASE HELP!!
