i have a walnut table and buffet that belonged to my g-grandmother...it is walnut the buffet has a veneer top and door fronts..the wood is very dry and brittle due to many years in storage, the table is also very dry and brittle and the legs have some very fine small cracks...the top to this table is also veneer..there are a few dark colored water rings as my grandmother used them for plants...how do i put life and luster back into the wood and veneer without taking away from the beauty of the table...i cleaned it with murphy's oil soap and used old english with the dark wood stain...what else can i do..any advice would be greatly appreciated.
sincerely
patricia
