Posted by T.Q. Master Quality -> the music sounds crisp as if it was from the vinyl/reel/CD used by the show. However, it may not necessarliy be stereo quality*. It depends on how important the the music should be to them. Or perhaps it has to do more with the era (like the 50s era. Most TV music was mono sounding because stereo music was expensive.) *Stereo Quality -> (this is just my definition of stereo quality) the music has two "sides" to it. For example, many of Herb Alpert's songs have two sides to them. That means if you were to listen to just the left side of two speakers, you'd notice that some instruments are missing. The right side would also sound different, however certain instruments cound have been recorded to reach both sides of the music. This is also the case for the Chuck Barris CD. Many of the tunes have two sides (also known as "pan" ). Like the Newlywed Game. If you listen to one side, you'd notice the brasses are missing in the main parts of the song. If we take the example of Blank Check, the music sounds great as in you can hear many of the instruments clearly, however there isn't two sides to the music. Basically if you listen to the left side, it sounds exactly the same as the right side. The music on my website are mono quality, however they may be crisp or dull.
