Posted by GIS# 1850 on 10/29/2007, 11:24 am Iguana age: 2+ Gender: Female Reason for new needing a new home: I have two Iguanas I received as gifts a year ago and though I have tried I feel I am not giving them the proper care necessary. I do not have time to handle them as much as they need. I do not have money to take them to the Doctor if they need it. The less I handle them, the more aggressive they are and I don't have the time or patience. I want better for them. Vet care and health history: Has had an eye issue that hasn't cleared up or become worse. I do not have enough money to take her in, I barely have enough to feed them and myself. I really want her taken care of!! Diet: Greens (mustard, collard, turnip, dandelion) and various baby food veggies (I've tried vegetables but he hasn't caught on). I've also occasionally included dried iguana pellets. Habitat and living conditions: They are together in a large wood and wire bird/ferret cage with logs, rope, a water bath, and both a red night heat lamp and a white heat lamp. And a heat rock. Temperament: Mostly shy, somewhat aggressive. She is a bit of a biter but smaller in size. She is scared to be picked up and likes to hide whether in the cage or out. Handling: Less and less. She used to be out 1+ times a day and has been handled less and less. House broken: No Included with iguana: Cage is not included but lamps, walking harness, and some foliage can be. Willing to ship iguana: no Other information: I am looking for someone to adopt my Iguana and truly care for her better than I am able. Adoption application required - Please visit the following link for more information: http://www.greenigsociety.org/adoptap.htm
