GIS# 1855
Looking for a home since 11/3/07
Iguana name: Manka
Iguana age: about 6 y.o.
SVL: 15 inches
STL: 45 inches
Gender: Female
Reason for new needing a new home: Small apartment, baby on the way.
Vet care and health history: No vet care. Perfect health.
Diet: She is very picky. Eats only romaine lettuce. But loves fruits and veggies. Watermelon, canteloupe, banana, carrots(finely shredded) zuccini, sometimes cucumber and cabbage. Vitamins and calcium added once a week.
Habitat and living conditions: She is living in our tiny livingroom. No cage.
Temperament: She is shy but very nosy. Lovely if got to know you. Like to be alone while she is in company.
Handling: She is tame. She'll take it, if you hold her nicely but she prefers left alone and free.
House broken: Yes
House breaking details: Uses one corner.
Anything included with iguana: yes
Included with iguana: Her rug, treebranch, leash, dish, warmingpad, vitamins if needed I can give a spraybottle for moist. Box for digging and mulch.
Willing to ship iguana: no
Other information: She is a small lovely girl. My heart breaks to give her away after 4 years. I rescued her after she left alone in a basement with cuts on her body and legs. I really try to find someone who will take care of her well. It was very hard for me to take this step but for our own good I have to do what I have to do.
Please note since she is a grown up, once a year she goes crazy because of mating season. She becomes extremly protectiv of her "own" area. She gets a little agressive for this time. Since she is free in our livingroom, we had to learn this lesson....
...and other thing: for some reason she loves pillows everything what is nice and soft.
