Buddy GIS#1860 Tunjunga CA Looking for a home since 11/16/07 Iguana age: 3 1/2 approx yr. SVL: 11 inches STL: 2 1/2 ft Gender: Male Reason for new needing a new home: Inherited two from my brother when he passed on. Sadly, cannot keep them both as they can no longer stay in same cage and have no room for two huge cages. Vet care and health history: Regular check ups each year. No known health problems. Very robust. Diet: Fruits, veggies, romaine lettuce (his favorite), collards and other healthy greens (not much spinach though). Habitat and living conditions: 4' x 5' cage. Hot rock, cave, 1 heat and 1 sun lamp for basking. Large pool. two large tree branches for climbing. Temperament: Shy. Likes to come out and run around the house. Will tail whip when scared or startled. Will let you pet him and hold him as long as he gets to climb up your arm by himself and sit on your shoulder. Needs to be approached slowly and quietly. Not good for children. Handling: Not as much as he should be lately. Once or twice a week. House broken: Yes House breaking details: Most of the time, he goes in the pool (water box) unless he is feeling feisty and wants to run, then whereever. Anything included with iguana: yes Included with iguana: I will include book, hot rock, cal/mag supplement (tho as long as you have a good sun lamp, he shouldn't need too much of that). The other one has always been weaker and sickly, so it is best for Buddy to find a good home. We love him and want him to have a great home for his sake and for the sake of the promise I made my brother. It would be best if Buddy went to a home that knows and has owned iguanas. Thank you.
