Looking for a new home since 12-20-07
Iguana name: Girley
Iguana age: 2004
SVL: 12
STL: 43

Reason for new needing a new home: She is getting to large to properly house her. I took her in to rehab her and she has recently reaqched her peak health.
Vet care and health history: FOund on a fence 11/2003 basically frozen. She was brought to our clinic by the humane society. We incubated her for 3 days and she came back to us. We hospitalized her for several months until she was well. She lost about 3 inches off of her tail. I took her home after that so she could contine to heal. Her blood work showed a large white blood cell count but since then she has been fine. She had metabolic bone disease also. she has had 3 broken bones. All are healed and have not affected her. Non since 2005. Last year we spayed her because she was egg bound which was causing her to fall back in the the bone condition. She had 26 eggs removed and has been growing like a weed since. As of now she is AOK!
Diet: Primarily Collard greens and mustard greens, with carrots
, zuccini, cucumber other vegies. Occasional grapes. She is very picky about her fruit. Because she is often loose in the hous she eats some cat food.
Habitat and living conditions: This time of the year(winter) she is inside. SHe has a 50 gallon aquarium with her water and bedding(teddy bear). Because she is too large to stay in there we let her out so she can move around and she loves to sleep on the mantel. SHe also has an out door cage that is 8ft tall by 3 feet wide by 5 feet long. It has a couple levels of shelving with a 8ft tall piece of drift wood.
Temperament: agressive! She has never been nice.
Handling: We handle her 2-3 time weekly since we have had her. She was grown when we found her.
House broken: No
Anything included with iguana: yes
Included with iguana: Out door cage with rest of set up..large drift wood branch, misters ect and the aquarium with lights and heating equipment
Willing to ship iguana: no
Willing to pay for shipping: yes
