Looking for a temporary home since 1-16-08 Iguana name: Azreal Iguana age: 12 SVL: 1 foot STL: 3 and a half feet Gender: Male Reason for new needing a new home: I am moving to a place that does not allow iguanas. I only need someone to care for him for 6 months or a years until i move into a place that will take iguanas. It is a great opportunity for someone who wants an iguana but doesn't want the long term commitment. must not have a dog as he is scared of dogs. Vet care and health history: right leg had become dislodged. Was given oral medicine for pain. He was limping a bit (about a year ago). He has been fine since. goes to the doctor once a year. I also bring poop samples to doctor. he is healthy. Diet: green collards, mustard greens, dandilion greens make up 90%. Likes 10% fruit blueberries bannanas apples. Also likes zuchinni, green beans, and squash. Habitat and living conditions: large enclosure made out of tempered glass and plywood. Is 6 feet long, 5 feet hight, and 3 feet wide. Has nice thick vines from the woods in it. ALso have uvb lamp and heat lamp. Cat pan with water on floor. Temperament: can be loving at times. likes massage. also can want to be alone. He is used to people and being held. Sometimes when i am reading a book he will sit on me. Will even follow me around the room. Can be sneaky. will try to sneak up on me and monkey bite. I keep my eye on him . If i am at my desk and he is on floor below i will keep my feet on the chair just in case. He has bitten me but it has been over 3 years since. each time he bite me was because he was mad about his cage not being clean or because i kept picking at his molting skin. he is in his sexual prime i think. He loves to bite and hide my wool clogs. he is very orange. Handling: lot for the past 12 years. House broken: Yes House breaking details: goes poop in the water filled cat pan. sometimes he misses he takes baths in the tub or hangs out when i shower. Loves the steam. Doesn't poop in the tub too much. Every now and then he poops on the hard wood floor. He is not allowed and goes back to his cage when he does this. Anything included with iguana: yes Included with iguana: I will take apart his enclosure and set it up for you at your place. Willing to ship iguana: no Other information: He is afraid of dogs.
