GIS# 1878 Looking for a home since 2/24/08 Iguana name: Sergio Iguana age: 3-6months SVL: 4inches STL: 12inches Gender: Unknown Reason for new needing a new home: Sergio came from a pet store in Springfield IL. Past Pets in the mall. A terrible place. Sergio was sickly, he was in a 10 gallon aquarium with a few other iguanas. When I got him I was not 100% sure I could keep him, but I figured I could at least give him a chance. I am getting a new job requiring more of my time and will not have time to care for Sergio properly. Vet care and health history: He has not received any veterinary care as of yet. Diet: He has had a diet of greens(Mustard Greens, Collard Greens, etc), veggies(Peas, Parsnips, Squash, fruits,) and Alfalfa Pellets. Normally this is prepared as kind of salad. Habitat and living conditions: Sergio is in a good size enclosure for his size. About 4ft wide 4ft tall 2ft deep. Plexi-glass sliding door front. Partial screen top and back for ventilation. Temperament: He will eat and bask in front of people but does not like being picked up. Once picked up after some tail whipping and displays, biting he will calm down fairly quickly. Handling: I try to handle him every day for at least 15 minutes. House broken: No House breaking details: He usually goes in the same area of the cage.
