Indiana GIS# 1893 Madison WI Looking for a home since 4/1/08 Iguana age: 1993 SVL: 1.5 feet STL: 4.2 feet Gender: Male Reason for new needing a new home: I am moving to NYC and I can't take him with me. He is a wonderful, healthy, friendly iguana. It breaks my heart; but if I can't find someone to take him, I have to take him to the humane society. He as been my roommate for 14 years. Vet care and health history: Indy has received regular veterinary care, and is in perfect health. When he was 14, I took him to the vet and she though he would live happily for another 10 years. Diet: Collard greens and romaine lettuce are staples, as are grapes (he loves grapes), tomatoes, green peppers, strawberries, broccoli, and a bit of iguana chow. Habitat and living conditions: He lives in an L shaped cage that is 5 feet long, and 2 feet wide (at each side of the L). There are branches for him to climb on. Temperament: Relatively calm; he hasn't been handled in a few months (I have been in NYC, and my mother is looking after him), but in general, he is tame. Handling: It varies from year to year, depending on how much I have been in town. Sometimes a few times a week, sometimes once every month or two. House broken: No Anything included with iguana: yes Included with iguana: Everything, cage (if you want it), hot rocks, pool, etc. Everything one needs to take care of an iguana.
