Looking for a new home since 5-14-08
Iguana name: MC
Iguana age: 2
SVL: 1 ft.
STL: 3 ft.
Gender: Female
Reason for new needing a new home: I am a full time student and working. I feel she deserves more attention than I can give her!
Vet care and health history: Visits vet about 2 times per year, just for a check up. She had worms when she was a baby, they were treated right away. Ever Since then, she has been perfect!
Diet: Collard greens, mustard greens, dandelion greens, kale, sprouts, green beans, squashes, zucchini, carrotts, broccoli, apples, bananas.
Habitat and living conditions: Her cage is placed right infront of the window to get the sunlight in the daytime. She also has a UVB light for the cloudy days and an infared light for nightime heat. Her cage is 6 ft high, 4 ft wide and 3 ft deep. There are three levels to the cage.
Temperament: MC is a very calm iguana. She likes to be pet and to just hang out on your shoulder. She has never bitten or whiped her tail at me, but probably would if harrassed.
Handling: She was handled quite often in her first year, which is why she will let you pet her and pick her up. On average, she is now handled about twice per week.
House broken: Yes
House breaking details: She goes at the bottom of her cage where there is lining. If placed on tile floor, she feels comfortable going as well.
Anything included with iguana: yes
Included with iguana: There is a 6'4'3 cage included with three levels, a water dish, two food bowls, a round ZooMed UVB light with holder, an infrared light with holder, and a tube ZooMed UVB light with holder. I also have all the cleaning and care supplies for her and the cage.
Willing to ship iguana: no
Other information: MC is a very fun pet to have, unfortunately I dont have the time to enjoy her! I feel she deserves to have someone that can give the attention she needs.
