IGGY GIS# 1932 Middlefield OH Looking for a home since 6/6 Iguana age: 9/young Gender: Male Reason for new needing a new home: We had a cage made and it is not working out... he is to large for his aquariam cage and this one he keeps rubbing his nose raw on the wire, and he just does not seem happy. My daughter got him when she was 10 years old and she has taken care of him from day one. She loves him and now that she is going to be 20, she does not have the time for him that she did when she was younger. He needs a loving home enviroment. Vet care and health history: Has been to the vet, daughter is also a vet tech, and he has rubbed his skin off his nose area. His eyes also have some loose skin. Diet: Has only been on green leafy foods, nothing canned. Habitat and living conditions: Has a large 4X4X4 cage with chicken wire, he keeps rubbing nose across the wire removing his skin off nose. He has greenery in there and two heat pads and a heat lamp, and wood to climb. Temperament: He is very calm, except during mating season can be a little aggressive. Handling: He is was always handled when younger now he is hardly taken out of the cage... daughter does give him baths, and cleans cage weekly...
