Looking for a new home since 7-9-08 Iguana name: Zoe Iguana age: approx 3yr SVL: approx 1ft STL: approx 2.75ft Gender: Female Reason for new needing a new home: Given as a gift 3 years ago. Have studied up on and taken good care of them, but I have not taken the time to tame them down. I would like them to go to a home that has more time for them or at least more space for them to hang out. Vet care and health history: She has no known health problems. She has laid eggs before and may be egg bearing again. I gave her a recommended nesting box but she had laid the eggs all over the cage (approx 16 of them). Diet: A wide variety of fruits and veggies. Deffinitely loves peas and any other green vaggies. She is a fan of most other fruits and veggies as well as long as they are cut up small. Habitat and living conditions: She currently lives with the male that was aquired with her. They will chase each other off the highest landing occasionally but get along well. They have bred. They are currently in a 6'x4'x2' cage purchased from Cagesbydesign.com. There are 4 ledges and a sloping branch for them to climb on as well as a bin of water at the bottom for bathing. I had orriginally built them a large cage for outside, but the male would head bob against the wire screening and scrape his snout raw. Temperament: They are both calm when alone. She will usually stand her ground but try to whip you with her tail when you go to the cage. Handling: Approx once a week.
