Fitzroy GIS #2070 Mansfield, OH Looking for a new home since 7/16/09 Iguana age: 5 yrs SVL: 18" STL: 48" Gender: Male Reason for new needing a new home: We don't have the time to handle him on a regular basis and think he deserves a better home. Vet care and health history: We got him as a baby and took him to the vet to make sure he was healthy. He needed medicine for parasites. When he was about 1, he dislocated an elbow and had to go to the vet to have a split put on. He has been healthy otherwise. Diet: Primary food is collard greens. Most often mixed with kale, mustard greens, turnip greens, dandelion greens. He loves occasional bananas, strawberries, and kiwi. Habitat and living conditions: His cage is constructed of 2x4 framing with drywall and insulation. There are two 4' UVB flourescent bulbs, a UVB spot light, a ceramic heater, and an ultrasonic humidifier all on a daytime timer. There is also a purple night light on a night timer. He has shelves and braches to climb on. The internal dimensions of the cage are: 36" DEEP x 69" LONG x 79" TALL (External: 45" DEEP x 77" LONG x 87" TALL) Temperament: He rarely gets to come out of his cage. He act a little aggressive when you enter his cage, but I usually pet him on the head/back daily. Handling: He is held very little since our daughter was born 2 years ago. When he was younger, he was handled more. I go into his cage a feed him a few times a day and usually pet him a little.
