Kermit GIS# 2083 Thornville, OH Looking for a new home since 9/2/09 Iguana age: 5 acquired 8/06 STL: about 48" Gender: Male Reason for new needing a new home: We have rescued too many and need to downsize. Spouse was laid off from job. Vet care and health history: Kermit came to use near death with a vitamin deficiency. After he was "nursed" back to health there have not been any medical/health issues. Diet: Collard greens, mustard greens, dandelion greens, turnip greens, arugula, escarole, endive, radicchio, butternut/acorn squash, parsnips, yams, green beans, snow peas, snap peas. Watermelon 2-3 times a week for treats. Once in a while we substitute kale, mango etc. He is a very good eater. Habitat and living conditions: 5'tall x 5'long x 3'deep cagesbydesign.com cage. Reptisun 10.0 UVB tubes (2- 4ft), heat lamp, CHE on thermostat. Humidifier, plastic tub. 2 ramps and 2 shelves. Tree. Temperament: Kermit is calm after you get him out of the cage. Handling: Kermit is handled daily. He enjoys his daily bath/shower. House broken: No House breaking details: He will go in the bath tub or his plastic tub. He could probably be trained if someone worked with him. Anything included with iguana: Yes Included with iguana: Food and water dishes. He has really turned out to be a handsome boy considering the condition he was in when we rescued him.
