Guy GIS #2084 Fort Worth, TX Looking for a new home since Sept. 18th, 2009 Iguana age: 9-4-09 SVL: 13" STL: 22" Gender: Male Reason for new needing a new home: Original rescuer no longer able to care for him. He was "taken" from two teenagers that had him in a small (very dirty) cage and tormented him to the point where tail kept breaking off and is very short. He was VERY defensive and scared of quick movements. Has never been in enough water to swim. Has great blue/green color and in great health. Needs a kind,patient,gentle human friend to live the rest of his long life with. Vet care and health history: Was checked by vet and other than undernouished & thin is in good health. Diet: Fruit, Vegtables, Iggy tabs and flowers Habitat and living conditions: Was found in very dirty way to small cage. Now lives in 6'x6'x7' room with tub, window, climbing branches and heat lamp, Temperament: Is calming down and allowing petting, but quick movements will cause tail lashing. Opens mouth but has not tried to bite Handling: Since coming here as much as possible House broken: Yes House breaking details: Not yet. Am working on getting him to use water tub Anything included with iguana: no Willing to ship iguana: no Willing to pay for shipping: no Other information: As a wildlife rehabber don't really have the time or set up needed for this guy. As it is my husband is about to disown me for turning the bathroom over to this iggy.
