Buddy- San Antonio, TX- Looking for a home since Sept. 2009 Iguana name: Buddy Iguana age: 4-5 months Gender: Unknown SVL: 4 inches STL: 13 1/2 inches Reason for new needing a new home: family issues and will have to be traveling a lot from Texas to Colorado and will not be able to give him the care and time he deserves. Vet care and health history: no known health problems. Diet: mostly greens(called the spring mix at walmart), carrots, and bananas. Habitat and living conditions: He is living in a 55 gallon tank with a heat lamp, UVB/UVA lamp, and heating pad on the bottom. Temperament: He is pretty calm, sometimes a little shy. Only every once in awhile he will put out his dulap. But has never tried to whip us, bite us, or hurt us. Handling: He has been handled everyday for at least an hour. He has also been handled by friends and family so he is used to other people other than us. House broken: No House breaking details: I haven't been able to get him to be on a set schedule for that. When he is given a bath he will sometimes go, other than that he will usually go under his branch we have in his cage. Applicant needs to be able to pick up the iguana.
