Binder GIS #2097 Looking for a new home since 10/12/09 Iguana age: Elderly 10+ Gender: Male Reason for new needing a new home: Foster Iguana Vet care and health history: Binders been fighting a absess now for some time, other than that he is very healthy. See's vet when needed. He is going to need surgery soon for his absess. Diet: Binder is a pig! He will eat anything you give him, he is not picky at all. He enjoys collard greens , kale, and many other greenS,veggies,fruits,even pizza. Habitat and living conditions: Binder is a free roaming Iguana. He hates being caged and will hurt himself if he is caged. Might be able to be caged in a VERY large cage? current cage is 6'tall by 5'long by 4'wide and he hates it, so we made it so he can go in and out on his own and he seems happy with that. He enjoys eating in the cage and basking under the uvb light in the mornings. Temperament: Binders unique. He is very friendly can hold him, carry him around but he hates to be petted, he will kick at your hand even though he hates being petted He has never bitten or tail whacked. He is a Very calm Iguana and easy going. Don't mind dogs or cats - or children he loves to be hand fed! Handling: Daily House broken: Yes House breaking details: He was , since being on medication he has had some issues. Binder did/will use a very large tub of water or the bathtub.
