I understand that , to be tested for DH (dermatitis herpetiformis- a type of CD affecting the skin) you need to have a skin sample taken from a healthy -looking area.
I guess if your GP refers you to a consultant dermatologist s/he could test for DH?
A positive diagnosis for DH would mean you would not need a gastroscopy .
Good you know you have safely had your little boy.
I know having a baby means lots of changes can happen to the mother but I would guess it's the gluten causing your unpleasant symptoms, not motherhood!
