My son never had any gut symptoms of note but slipped into anaemia and all the deficiencies without us noticing, until he eventually fainted and CD announced its arrival on the scene.
I often wonder at what point it all began, when did his gut start to change like this,as being diagnosed at the age of 18 he can't have always had CD! He had always been stick shaped, but energetic and 'normal'...It could have been the stress of A levels had a factor, if that's enough of a trigger.
