I live in Somerset, they stopped my scrips at the start of the year. 1% of local population is about 25 to 30 people, about 10 per supermarket.
There is no way they will continue with their current range of GF when the GF fashion moves on to something else. My Juvela bread on prescription was ideal as it lasted several weeks. Some fresh bread I bought from a supermarket was going mouldy before the use by date. Did not have the standby stock as I would have done with Juvela so had to wait for next supermarket visit. Cost aside there are many other problems with non availability of scrips and it can only get worse. If a voucher scheme is introduced I can only see it working through a pharmacy long term.
