I'm lactose intolerant and react awfully to gf oats which now seem to be in most biscuits. Also after being gf a few yrs, ive started to react to wheat dextrose which is in almost everything.
Even worse though is when someone has gone to the effort of baking you something. What a minefield as people rarely consider using a fresh marg that hasnt been used with bread knives, a wooden spoon that has had years of use mixing wheat flour and then cutting it on a wooden bread board that looks clean but is harbouring bread crumbs. This is why i politely decline!
Would love to not have to be such a pain in the arse!
