It was later admitted by Genius that a gluten ingredient (meant for the gluten area of their factory) was delivered to the 'GF ' area and used to make supposedly GF items, causing coeliacs who ate them to be ill.
'Gluten-free' products recalled by major supermarkets

...A number of major supermarkets have recalled some products advertised as gluten-free because they may actually contain gluten.
An alert for Asda, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Tesco and Morrisons has been issued covering products including pitta bread and pizza bases.
The Food Standards Agency said items "are a possible health risk" for those with a gluten allergy or intolerance.The affected products were all made by a bakery run by food company Genius.....
