Another vote here for magnesium oil spray. The vast majority of people are deficient in magnesium and it's used in a whole host of physiological processes. Anyone who does sport (like me) will require even more.
I mainly use it do reduce aches and pains from training (running/cycling/rowing etc) as it plays a key role (along with calcium) with muscle tension. It's one of the few things I've found that do actually work as a performance aid.
Also, because it's topical (I leave it on for 15-20mins and then wash it off - can be a bit itchy if skin is v sensitive) it bypasses the gut and any associated absorption issues.
