So cross-contamination which might lead to the introduction of a little bit of nuts to someone who has a nut allergy is what? Just nuts?
There are a number of dedicated gf producers who don't have any ingredients containing above 20ppm gluten on their premises. I would consider it to be inappropriate to deride them in any way. You state that 'CUK did not seem bothered by it....' but this is not an opinion shared by many, and certainly not by the supermarkets who cleared their shelves quite quickly.
