CUK don't have a plan we will have to buy our own and that will be it. The bread in the supermarkets doesn't cost more than the prices paid by the NHS. If the NHS procurement process had been better we may all not be in the situation we are now. There are layers of costs on top of each item received by us on prescription. I wonder whether CUK will survive if it isn't able to advertise prescription products as we won't be able to have them. Before prescriptions went which was over 18 months ago I asked the pharmacist how much it cost for 8 loaves of glutafin bread the answer 54.00. It costs me about £26.00 to buy the same weight of bread in the schaar brand. I now eat less bread.
