Deb, concentrate on the big "compound" exercises initially such as squats, deadlifts, overhead press, bench press. Start off really, really easy and light....get the basic movements and technique dialled first. You may find just bodyweight exercises are challenging to start with. If in any doubt get some tuition otherwise there is a vast array of informstion on youtube. I really like the "mindpump" guys...dont be put off by the fact they are 3 (american) bodybuilder types....they really know their stuff.
I have osteopenia in my femur and lower back so that is an additional reason why I don't only do cardio now.
