Hello everyone, Season's Greetings to you. My GP has just referred me to a Gastroenterologist as she suspects I may be coeliac - apparently the blood test I had should have been less than 5 but its 25 so I need referral. I've been told that I must carry on eating everything I normally do (i.e. gluten) until my appointment so any tests will reflect what's going on. I'm in a fair bit of discomfort - and my appointment isn't until the end of March. Do I really need to carry on eating stuff which the doctor now thinks has been making me poorly for months, or could I cut it out now and just eat a bit before my appointment? Sorry if this is an obvious questions, but I'm brand new to this and still a bit shocked at the result. Funnily enough though, part of me is relieved that I may finally have an answer to years of discomfort and misery. Thanks in advance for any help.
