I was diagnosed in 2003 and felt better after taking iron supplements to combat very severe anaemia. The labelling changes were two years on and they revolutionised our situation for the better. Bread has improved greatly. I had been plagued by rear heel pain for years and it just disappeared. The most remarkable thing that I have noticed is how it has been possible to become virtually immune to the desire for most of the foods that we can't eat, like it has been switched off in the brain and body as they know that they are "poison" to us. It's less effective when we are really hungry but we are mostly still deterred. How did that happen?! Happy New year to all!
