Re: Can I rant a little?
sorry i was 6 stone 5lbs before finally submitted myself for the endoscopy after my blood tests came back absolutely convinced was my gp he phoned my husband up to tell me to go for the endoscopy,at the hospital they showed me the flattened villi and told me then and there that I was conclusively coeliac.it is a bit daunting at first but now i am well used to it and can cope with doing the diet quite well......its not as bad when you get used to i and now there are many gluten free things to buy which in the past there was not a lot to choose from.Aldi and lydll are quite good shops for gluten free and a lot of chocolates are gluten free thankfully as ihate all the grotty gluten free biscuits which to me are a waste of dosh.I make my own bread using orgran wholemeal bread mix it is easy to make and i cook it in my oven and it tastes like ordinary bread to me.I also make pancakes well using asda own gluten free plain flour tastes better than doves farm i.m.h.o. any way best of luck with getting well .....my pancakes are lovely and husband eats them too and my friend and can not tell the difference at all nice with strawberries and ice cream in the summer.....best of luck with going gluten free.
