Re: Back to square one.
First of all can I say thank you to all who have taken the time to reply. The fodmap diet I did with the help of a dietitian, and this was when fibre most vegetables and fruit was found to be a problem, I had already identified GF bread myself. It was the dietitian who suggested it may be lactose but didnít want me to cut it out until I had been doing the fodmap for a while, I havenít had any let up of symptoms so I thought I would try it now as my appointment with the dietitian isnít until November. I have been back to my GP but she has just said I am in the hands of the dietitian regarding my CD, whom she says will refer me back to the gastro if need be. I expected once I was diagnosed with CD I would get better but that never happened, I have had more health problems in the last 10 years than I ever had before.
