Re: The Broccoli Festival. How good is this? Festival in Fife nr Kinross
Thanks Pam, we like going place for a coffee mainly , a meal at times. Itís an expensive pastime but takes us into some lovely areas and beautiful countryside and itís much nicer than visiting towns and cities. What I have discovered is that the standard and range of products for us is much better in more rural based outlets, mainly farm shops and cafes but also garden centres. These are generally also much better environments than your average town coffee shop with the exception of the Bluebell Tearoom in Stirling which I am reliably informed is brilliant and run by a coeliac. Thereís a lovely shop cafe at Archerfield in East Lothian but itís not quite as accessible for me as Iím based more centrally. Do avoid the Rail Bridge Bistro in South Queensferry as when I asked about something GF they pointed to a cake. Asked if they used separate tongs they replied ďsometimesĒ, not a good sign.
