We were on holiday and I forgot to ask if the chips were ok. I started to feel faint after eating my meal and fell off my perch. I was well looked after by the staff, my other half and a nurse who just happened to be there; and I was ok the next day. (It happened in the evening.) I asked about the chips a few days later and found out that they had wheat flour coating. My blood pressure tends to be low rather than high anyway, especially after a drink or two!
The odd thing is that on the few other occasions when I've accidentally eaten a little gluten I just get a bit constipated, the opposite to most people.
