I have had a lot of problems with Genius, mainly full of holes, I did try to send some pics on the Genius complaints form on website but gave up after several futile attempts. Own brands vary, M&S is usually nice but overall it also depends on what supermarket you can get to and what they may or may not have at any one time.
Trying out the homemade route at the moment with a borrowed bread maker, a Panasonic SD 2511.
It is undeniable that it is very easy, a few minutes to put the ingredients in, press the button and it just gets on with it until you have lovely smelling fresh bread.
This is the point where we are still trying to sort out best way to go. If you leave it until next day it is already quite stale. Freezing it as soon as it is cool enough to slice seems to work reasonably well but not the ideal answer.
Anyone come up with a magic ingredient to keep it fresh for longer?
We have tried both white and seeded bread flour, Doves Farm Freee.
