They seemed to have upped their game on the GF front, on the day we went at least.
Good range of cakes and scones plus a new on on me, a Tomato, Mozzarella and Pesto toastie which I tried.
Very tasty if a bit messy, the cheese was very stringy as is the want of Mozzarella so not easy to eat elegantly but I would have it again.
Shame M&S have seen fit to not supply saucers now with cups, not the end of the world but just an annoying sign of falling standards. I seem to remember there was talk of them doing away with tea pots a while ago, glad to say that has not materialised yet, I hate being served up with a mug with a tea bag in it.
I would ventur to say people that go to N&S cafe want a bit of old fashioned service.
On the subject off the Cribbs junction (17 I think) if you head in the opposite direction there is the excellent Almondsbury garden centre, not easy to find as it is not very well signposted but you turn off heading towards Almondsbury village.
They closed their lovely cafe down during Covid but have now built a brand new one which is very nice.
