Ingredients
8oz self raising GF flour
3 tablespoons of ground ginger
2 tablespoons baking soda
3 ozs caster sugar
4 oz butter
1 level dessert spoon of golden syrup
Method.
iIf you have a mixer put everything in the bowl and beat the mix until it’s all mixed.
2. If you don’t mix with a wooden spoon,
roll the mixture with your hands into a long round smoothish cylinder shape. Now slice the roll into thin slices with a knife. When you cut support the round slice with your knife and transfer each one with the knife to your baking tray. Space the rounds out.
3. Place in oven for 10 minutes at 170c.
Leave the cooked rounds to cool in the tray as they get snappier! If the rounds merge when cooking wait until they start to cool and use a knife to cut a thin groove between them. That cool quickly and now you are ready to eat. Enjoy!!
