OG's suggestion is great. Can multiple people simultaneously hold moderator privileges?

If so, I think the idea of approving posts may be more economical than if it was just one person. I'd of course be able to approve posts on a fairly regular basis, but even then it might take all day for a post to appear on the board. If we *all* had moderator privileges, then it would simply be a matter of us going through the spam and banning IPs or however it works before we make our own posts. That, to me, sounds pretty simple and a very fair trade-off for having a nice, spam-free place for me to relentlessly troll clueless teenagers and fill out people's sociology questionaires.

That said, I have never seen the opposite end of a Boardhost bulletin board. I haven't the slightest idea how it works and I wouldn't be surprised if you can only have one moderator at a time.

: Thanks Tass for telling me about the spam
: problem. Seems like they are getting more
: persistent these days. Does anyone have the
: time to moderate the board? By that I mean,
: I would set it so that all messages had to
: be approved before being posted. I just
: don't have the time to do that for every
: post, but that's the only real way to keep
: the spam out on this particular message
    : board format.

    : Any takers?
