As a school bus driver, I DO feed on their young, though maybe not quite in the sense that you meant it, however sarcastically.

It is easier, believe me, to make them believe you are playing along with their game, but to always keep in mind the rules that you alone determine to have meaning.

What you believe, and how you act on it, is all that matters.

"I mourn where this culture is going."

Then live the culture that you want. Do not let it die around you.
